BF1942 Conn Issues

Hello guys,

I have just got ISDN installed, I have a router that gives me pings of about 50-60 in CS and DOD, do you think this will be sufficient to play BF1942?

I think I’ll download the demo and give it a try, are there many servers still running the Demo?

50-60 should be ok depending on the server and packet loss.

On some servers I can ping 20 but feel like i'm playing with a 100 ping, other servers I get 50 ping and it feels smooth. It is probally best to stick to the dedicated servers.

You have the same connection as me Khan, and I am currently getting far better gaming than many of my cabled up clanmates so you should be fine.

I wouldn't worry about the demo, just go buy the game from GAME, patch it, and away you go. If for whatever reason it runs like pants on your machine, just return it within 10 days as their policy lets you do that without any reason.
