BF locks up at profile screen, help pls :)

its not actually my bf that has this problem its my friends, basically what happens is he starts it up loads up fine but when it gets to profile screen it just locks up and dies.


anyone had this problem? and fixed it if so gimme a hand pls thx

Ok the obvious stuff:

1) Latest BF patch? Full or Incremental?

2) Drivers, GFX, Mobo etc etc

Oh and Legal copy of BF?

Ok, Well i can suggest reinstalling and patching using the incremental patches. This is a pretty drastic idea so wait for others to respond with better ideas first

Oh and omega drivers my rads hated them.

hehe cheers upto him if he wants to wait or not if it does'nt work ill feed his computer pancakes tho for being horrible

is he using a non-standard refresh rate ? If so he has to use the command game.allowallrefreshrates 1 , or some such, otherwise the game wont load.

Do you know what settings he has on in the option's menu?
