This is tiring now, is newbies can get buffs from u, they say, GIMME SOME SEALS THEN IF U CANT BUFF ME, then they tell u 2 give them money cos they r low lvls, this is gettin beyond a joke now, im seriously gonna have the next person who does this, i will get their account fired of ground of harrassment, cos then they create lvl 1s 2 annoy u.

sure u can ignore them, but then they create another alt.

iw as goin 2 sauvage earlier with Pbuck and this guy runs u 2 us sez "buff plz" then runs off after he got it.

newbies arent even saying thank you any more, AND the sodden ask 50 times the moment u log. so im gonna either have their account fired OR ill start charging fees, sure every1s gonna flame me and say "thats lame, charging 4 buffs" but its the only way, we r gonna get sodden lowbies pesting us 4 buffs!

Give them a lowlevel buff !!! like the L4 earthen power.

I dont mind buffing ppl but when they msg abuse etc after i cant sometimes coz i am busy with guild or i am far away i really start to get annoyed.Oh well sorry to hear it sharma maybe u should tell me their names and i will give them a good few words or two.:cool:

Hey matt .. thx for the really nice buff.. made 7b (lvl7-8) didnt stop for endurance, at first i was hesitant to ask, but ti thought "well im here and hes just standing around and talking to his mates" hope you didnt mind mate ;)

I know this is an Alb forum so i'll be brief. We have this situation creeping into Mid too unfortunately. My self only buffs have had their animations changed in the last patch and now they look all spiffy and sparkly and stuff and one level 19 Skald DEMANDED that I buff him with my DMG add??? Hmm..well I explained I didnt have one, and all my buffs were self or pet only. But he persisted and was quite abusive in the end. Anyway, I did have 3 people on my ignore list, now theres 4.

But cheeky git of the year award must go to XXXXX (Name witheld) who approached me and asked me for money. I dont usually give in to beggars but I had just spent a VERY productive and profitable few hours in DF and gave the lad 10g, he then turned round to me and said *What the hell am I going to do with 10g, I need at least 20* !!!!!!!!!!!!:eek6: Quickly pressed the cancel trade button and took a horse away from him.

The situation may be worse in Alb I dont know but we have it too, so my sympathies are with you.

silly peeps glad i`m a pally no buffs to give out :clap:

still had a cheeky bugger teh otehr day at prydwen keep..i logged on immediatly he sent me "gimme sum money"

so i pointed and laughed and said "no"

he replied "why not you`re loaded??!?"

i replied "cos i only rarely give money to beggars and only then when they ask really nicely and i`m in a good mood"

i wouldn`t mind but this idiot was in one of the bigger guilds in Albion!!!

I've never begged for buffs or gold.

(Ok sorry mattshanes, yes ive messaged you loads, but 95% of the time, im teasing - im sure ya knew that)

Only a small few friends have helped me get my characters back on track after the big deletion. and I owe them loads.

Ive had loads of messages before, when my chars were 40+ for gold and buffs, and It is very anoying. Those seeking gold were simply told "Ask your guild !!" found that got rid of most of the beggers.

Anyone can get to L5 easily anyway without money, I've had plenty of experience over the last few days.
L1 - kill some blue stuff
L2 - kill puny skeletons and get some armour
L3 - get a new weapon from the stonecutter in cornwall, kill skeletons to complete armour set
L4 - spritlings and zombies (slowest level of the lot to do, but if you have that nice new FREE weapon it goes much quicker)

But you already knew this :)

Ah the joys of a speed class, if a begger tries to follow me around he soon finds himself a long way behind me. ;)

1) Dont ask Matt for buffs hes evil and will rob you off your well earnt money if given a chance, with the cheap magical tricks of his.

2) Hate Matt as much as i do.. but love Shanes at same time.

3) When a begger asks you for money give him/her one copper and say ' Dont spend it all at once '

4) If given a lot of verbal abuse take scdreenies and say ' I love you too friend, oh and the really nice pictures of us both are going to RighaboutNow for development... ta ta '

5) If the person in question asks nicely and gives good reason as to why he needs the money < i love female RPers who say they need the money to go get drunk in pub... i usually accompany them >

I mean we manged to get away with it so far. and the silly git havent even noticed.. i mean if he did he would have posted it here on BW wouldnt he. :p

But yeah lets give the guy a break and pick on someone else. After all he does deserve a holiday after sponsoring and buffing so many newbiles. <Har har har har> :)

Btw i have given out so much money i could of become grandmaster tailot 10 times over with the amount.I know u are joking 95% of the time but when u are normally speaking to 5-10 ppl at once it can be annoying:p

Oh well noone will understand a shaman on Excalibur helping lowbies with buffs 4 hours straight... would they. The key word is incognito help.

Anyhow yes you do see generocity from people who ask for buffies and money nicely explaining their situation etc. They seem to remember your help.

PS: Matt you aint the only one who spends the money... from about 30+ to 39 i used to give out 150-200g a day about 75% of my total loot. Not even mentioning distributing items for free <i know some people consider it wrong to give them away>.

PPS: im not joking only when im trying to be serious ehem... go figure.

Ivan i was buffing ppl for 6 hours once in mithra and i felt like hitting my head through the wall after hehe.I dont use matt much during the day because of this tbh anyway i am lving my merc atm.

Yeah and when im back to the game you are gonna have to plevel me to 50.... or at least buff me while i solo hemadryads <or somthing like that>. No excuses accepted :p And Kardin is gonna have to buff meh too...

Bah im sooo poor i dont have 1 p... im skint to be honest, Good ole Relic raid and new weapon purchase from Hendrick made my purse empty... now i think i have about 340 gold which is kind of sad. Soooo more Pygmy goblins and Tanglers for me when i get back :(
