Better Paladin Template

Ok 3 weeks ago i made a template with 99%'s now i want to make a MP template with my new artifacts,

My whole set of artifacts are :

Harpys Cloak
SoM
Battler (1hand)
GoV
Flask (Jewel)
Khaos Shield
and Maddening Scalars (i hope to find the scrolls to it altho i will )

My sleeves are battler's and if needed i can change them in my template ,
I have some uber items like Bracer of silent oblivion and i can find nearly anything. Just give me a decent template coz i am kinda confused

ps : my spec is 44sl 42sh 46ch 5pr (so i dont count to much on parry)

50 shield 48 chants 29 slash rest parry, as i don't see the point in speccing so much in slash for a pure defense class.

29, 34, 39 or 44 slash - you're still going to hit like a wet fish so why not excell properly with your most usefull skills?

29 slash or 39 slash both fine tbh. Depends on your temperament. I'd probably stop at 39 slash though instead of going to 44.

I'm going 48 chants but again, 46 chants & spec elsewhere is fine. I went the 39 slash route because although pallies are tanks, I like to contribute a little to the fight, especially if I solo! But 29 slash & put up the shutters, who can argue?

second spec, when we got first respec: 39 slash, 46 chants, 42 shield, 20 parry

third spec: 34 slash, 46 chants, 50 shield, 7 parry

fourth spec: 32 slash, 46 chants, 50 two-handed, some leftovers in parry (this spec lasted a week or so)

Ok when i began i had 42sh 39sl 48ch 13pr , but i think it was just a medium spec and since i am not a guy that moveswith the mases i will do what soulfly said , who is a PE paladin (kidna ugly i admit )

Dunno what you lads are on about but the different between 29 slash, 34 slash and 39 slash is MINIMAL, especially for a paladin as we are on one of the gimpiest damage tables ever invented in the history of DAoC.

Stylewise, there's nothing too much of interesst after Ammy slash, Backslash aint worth it for the end it uses, yes I know we have End 5 regen, but when your twisting it just doesn't cut it.

50 shield, why? Brutalise, just, Brutalise.

Brutalise is good because, it's LOW end cost (same as Ammy, so Medium), after-block lasts 1 second longer than Slam (which means an extra Riposte for me using 3.5 speed Sun Swords, or hasted with Malice) and the best part of it all is, is that your only style after a Brut is Riposte, which is a damn fine style indeed.

50 Shield also means 4% more chance to block than 42 shield.

So any palas should really consider 50 Shield 29 Slash 46 Chants (I don't like the AF chant anymore with everyone having Cleric Spec these days) 15 Parry.

And if your really that hot and horny about 50 difference in WS, go for 34 slash and no parry.

I've always been 39 Slash 42 Shield 48 Chants Rest Parry, and always was sceptical towards 29 slash 50 shield, but damn, the change was well worth it.

Btw, use Malice instead of Battler, or throw Battler in your 2h Slot for the charge, there isn't much to that weapon, Malice > Battler bigtime, -25% stat debuff to all = win.
