Im over in Holland atm and got a luvly hire car.

Renault Laguna Automatic with tiptronic (sp?) gearbox. Lovely to drive.

Went home early yesterday (to hotel in Utrecht) and parked the car in the multistory next to the hotel. Went out later to move the car into the secure parking - and some bastid had smashed the rear window of the car.

Never got anything (surpisingly cos there were jackets/suitcases in the back.

Had to take the car back and ended up with a pissy Renault Megane (manual) which is a POS.

I live in perpetual fear some rotten bastid will ruin my holiday having a go at the car, I had the drivers window smashed in a car park about three years back and I am still digging out bits of glass whenever I clean it out. Its a messy little old Corsa banger with absolutely nothing valuable in it, why people decide to have a go mystifies me.

We stayed in a B&B on the way back from my camping holiday last week, at around 1am I woke up realising I'd left the Digicam in the car, which is not especially valuable but contained some memorable pictures I would rather not lose, so I had to sneak half nekkid out the B&B to get it out the car !

and the police dont give a f*ck here. Need to fill out a form, take it to the Police station and then wait 10 days until they fill out an official incident form.
