Best sounding media player?

Starting to listen to alot of music on pc, got it hooked up to my cd player and looking for the best souding media player, Vlc is prolly the best ive tried, Anymore?

I usually use VLC for video's and such, but I prefer good old Winamp for music.

Well, onboard soundbards recieves alot of static from the rest of the circuit, so an add-on card helps a little.

Or do as DFI did with their onboard sound... Make the karajan module.. fucking genius :>

Hah, karajan module is a joke

By using optical/coaxial (digital) output it doesn't matter which sound card you are using really but with analog output there can be a huge difference.
