or Mogwai. though imo, you really shouldn't be stoned when experiencing the 'wai. their music is awesome enough as it is tbh.

I got a better idea. Don't get stoned:fluffle:

Rubbish idea :p

it really depends on what music you like, some people i smoke with listen to drum and bass with very heavy bass but if i'm just chilling it can get annoying. some like jazz (again often with bass) some psychedelic shit like pink floyd, some like guitar solos like led zeppelin, thin lizzy or deep purple.YouTube - Thin Lizzy - Emerald

some like trip hop stuff like Dj shadow YouTube - dj shadow - six days

The whole of dark side of the moon, preferably the video version :p is great
Dub side of the moon is great as well, its a dub reggae version of the whole album, if u like reggae and dsotm its awesome.

YouTube - The Easy Star All-Stars The Dub Side Of The Moon - Money

if you're a fan of sound garden then you might like queens of the stone age, the songs for the deaf album is solid imo

i really just think it makes anything you do like even better, as it makes everything more fun :p

I have to say the OT crowd has given me the impression that Britain is constantly covered in one big puff cloud of dope.. everyone there seems to be smoking something and it seems to be the norm there rather than the exception. Is that view true, or are you guys just over represented on these forums?

In any case, I prefer to not get stoned.. either through smoking something or having people throw rocks at me. :D

60's propaganda is wearing off... people is more informed about what the drugs do and can do to you..
And that if you take a few puffs of a joint it wont kill you :)
What amuses me is seeing that theres so many types of people that smokes weed. Personally i gave up smoking a year ago or so but it seems everyone is smoking, all from unemployed slobs to people who have leader positions in companys whos doing well etc.
I can't speak for Britain tho :)

Hmm. Perhaps i live in some kind of sheltered world here then, or just haven't seen what all the "active" people of today do on their spare time. None of my friends smoke, except normal cigarettes (and very few do that even), and I put a finger if i've ever seen anyone smoke a joint. It feels like I live in a totally different than you guys.

I guess i'm happy that there's no pressure to do it, cause i don't think i could. Mostly it's just mild curiousity. I mean i'm not living under a rock or anything, so why don't i see this around me more (or at all)?

Thing is, if you search for it you'll find it almost everywhere. But if you don't you probably won't encounter it very often (atleast from my experience).

your view of 65 million people is determined by; not only a handful of people, but also people who post on fh, and smoke cannabis.
maybe the british are more opened minded or something.
for example, search the benefits of cannabis verse the benefits of inhaling tar fumes (aka cigarettes). check which one is legally acceptable at the same time.
