lol had a kid in my maths class at school and he only had one arm, he used to hide fags in his prosthetic arm lol.

It was really funny because there was also this right cocky mouthy kid in the class and he used to nick the boys arm occasionally, anyhoo one day the kid got a new one and the mouthy sod tried to nick it but this one moved so the kid made the hand clasp the mouthy git and i swear he screamed like a virgin and almost went in to orbit rofl.

yes im unsure why thats an issue. someone of us like to goto educational institutions to learn and then take exams, where a reliable pen is paramount.

If you are in science and you have time to write nice and neat, you're not working hard enough.

I've switched to mechanical pencils (can rub out mistakes easier and not mess up books! for example when i write ル(ru) instead of　ハ(ha) or る(ru)/ろ(ro) or シ(shi)/ツ(tsu)　or ツ|つ(big tsu)/ッ｜っ(little tsu - doubles up consonant sounds)　or ソ(so)/ン or 大(big)/木(tree)/本(book)/ホ(ho)), but always found Staedtler ballpens great, and non-smudgy!

Definately the best pen for hasty writing (colleges etc.) would be a Schneider Xtra 805 Needle point pen:

They're relatively cheap, and write ohw so smooth. They use liquid ink though, so takes a second longer to dry than a Bic ballpoint, but dries fast enough not to interfere with page turnovers, however if you use those non-absorbing papers, this might not be supereffective. They're cheap enough to give it a go though.
Also, what I like about this pen, is that you don't need to move the pen over the paper to get ink on there. Just dot it and a dot appears.

for those situations where haste is less of a factor, I still prefer a good ol' fountainpen.
