it used to be Zerk/Shaman (atleast in my opinion). But now its probably Savage/Shaman.

Though to be honest you can get by well enough with any Tank+Shaman.

Hunter + shaman isnt that bad either.
Buff pet up and get strong bluecon friend,
With end buff, you can chainpull yellows/orange nonstop if you have correct arrows.

A savage that singlehit hit harder than a thane, and he does it at way faster speed, so really dont see how thanes are any good, but maybe you were being ironic.

Savage over Thane any day and Savage over Warrior any day takes way to long to kill red/purp with warrior u do it easily half the time with savage.

so Savage+Shammy but for a trio Savage+Guarding warrior+shammy

Dont know about those savages but i think you need to waste alot of power healing them so stick to warriors they do great dmg and theres no dt.

When killing nightmares you wont have any DT with a h2h savage...and you kill most of them in less than 30 seconds (before selfbuffs runs out).

Before lvl 40 i would say warrior/shammy, after lvl 40 savage + shammy.

But ofc, nothing beats summ sm/mend healer with pombot

Kobbie Warrior + Shaman for taking highest level of mobs.

Zerker + Shaman still rocks for fast killing of fairly high mobs (Seal farming in DF for example) with 0 down time and therefore good for PL'ing.

Where the zerker fails where warriors and probably savage gain is when taking more than 2 mobs at once or even just 2 purples, a zerker takes damage too quickly and it gets tough, but even with 3 mobs (say 2 purps, 1 red) a zerker will still survive with careful use of frigs and heals from the bot and good use of styles. That's a RR6.6 and SC'd zerk though.
