Noone has said healer+sm yet?

I prefer shaman/warrior because at highlevel you can duo tough mobs and I'm a tank by heart, but for exping speed pachealer+supp-sm and spirit vulnerable mobs sounds the fastest.

And yes I know. At high level a healer+summon sm can tackle even harder mobs but summon-sm is on deathrow waiting to be executed.

From what I read on VN boards, 1.65 won't totally kill summon spec SM focus pulling / powerlevelling, you can still take on reds fine, might need to be a little more careful with healing the pet though.

I've just recently started a summon SM so I'm going to be following the reports of the focus nerf for info, but I'm not going to delete/respec him yet as I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe the spec is "waiting to be executed".


As for PL'ing in general, I am told BA BDs are good for it, anyone have experience with them?

Depends on wat you want to do with the shammy later:

if 'standard' rvr shammy (aug+cave) -> combo with a Warrior, the warrior will need lees heal and you can take advantage of shammy cave while fight.

if buff boot only (aug+mend) -> combo with Savage/Zerker, this tanks will need more heal or the price to pay will be downtime.


if you dont care about the shammy future (respec stone ecc..) the second choice Shammy+Savage/Zerker is fatest imo.
