Best Gfx for daoc?

Im looking for a new gfx, cuz my old Gefore Ti4200 isnt that good anymore...

-So, im looking for a Radeon card, but wich one ?

if you could help me I would be thanksfull

9800pro will set you back a fair ammount think you can get the AIW / SE and softmod it to run at pro speeds and that saves you a fair few quid

Nvidia is more stable and has way better drivers.

Get 5900 if you have the cash.

If your Ti4200 isn't enough I guess you should consider upgrading something else in your computer.

Radeon is fastest and best quality, nvidia is expensive if you compare the performance rating.. no support for nvidia here. I've got radeon 9700 pro for a year without problem.

tested both myself prefer nvidia for daoc, but ati for other games :x

get a real drivers, not a year old ones

I would say exact the opposite to Horil's statement, get a year old drivers (if you have nvidia) I get better performance with 41.09 than with any newer driver.

Nvidia cheats with their new detonation driver
they increase fps through not supporting some new features in 3dMark2003 for example. Nvidia itself called it "optimized 3D support" etc^^
ATI 9800 is faster and cheaper than geforce FX
