erm......unless your using on-board graphics, your gonna need a graphics card in there or you wont be running anything at all.

Other than that, I wouldnt expect that you will be able to play the latest games (HL2 etc) AND watch video's at the same time, not without some serious stuttering of one or both.

Im sorry......

why would u want to watch a video and play a game at the same time, won't u miss out on the good parts from both and the sound must be terrible imagine having, say for example the sound of The lord of the rings playing over the top of someone playing UT or HL2

Choosing a graphics card

I want to find a card that will give my son good graphics on Age of mythology and similar games. My creative GeForce 2Ti seems to struggle as the graphics regularly freeze. I can't afford the latest expensive cards, but reckon that I can get either a Radeon 9550, 9200se or 9600se based card, or perhaps a GF4 Ti 4200 card.
They all seem about the same price, but are any of them better than the others?

Of the cards you mention, the 9600 is the best.

If you're on a budget you might find ebay or other auction sites a good idea - there should be plenty of cheap 9800's and 9700s on the market from snobby gamers upgrading the the latest and greatest gfx chipsets for the newer games like Hl2 etc.
