dont think he caught on it was a direct copy of the 80s original, so ofc its gonna be "shite" which made the whole thing rather crap, as i am well aware of how awful it is, that and 1000s of other early 8 bit games with similar gfx.

The original was quite good, or well, the Amstrad version was.

Yeah, I quite enjoyed the c64 version. Must admit I never played the NES version and it does look like a bit of an iffy port.

I remember playing the C64 version on the display computers at Asda while my parents went shopping. I also remember being astonished that the game had sampled speech and an accurate version of the title music.

The game itself was iffy. :)

Remember this? was very nice, also Solstice from Nes was based in this kind of trigger, but Batman was the best I played.

Here you can see a pretty decent remake which is still developing and needs help for it

Never played that, but it looks pretty much identical to Oceans's Head over Heels.

Head over Heels was released 1 year after Batman (1986) in 1987 (both by Ocean), developers are the same (Jon Ritman & Bernie Drummond) that's why they look pretty identical, although Batman was focused on 1 char played, for me is the best I've played :D

you can download the last remake of Head over Heels here

Still got my ZX Spectrum 128k+ in a cupboard somewhere...might have to dust it down one day see if it still works...only problem is I might not have a tape deck. Got a spectrum emulator on the PC, but its not quite the same as the look feel & smell of the original article.

(My Spectrum is probably the only computer that doesn't have any porn on it. That & the one inside my washing machine......nope, cancel that, my jeans are watching lesbian nun porn with a sock....please don't tell me they've got popcorn :( )

Jet Set Willy forever!

So there! :)

what was that game called where you were a little frog at the bottom of a cave and the only objective was to jump out of the cave while dodging a bird that kept going back and forth  you had to have some mad jumping skills to get out because the ledges were annoying as hell and rather small.

yeah I think the +2 had a tape deck. My one you had to connect an old fashioned tape recorder with some audio leads, turn the volume up full & hope your game loaded without crashing lol. Ah those were the days

I think the +2 had the built in tape and the +3 had the built in disk, either way you were a flash git if you owned either :twak:
