As topic says, what is the best critblade spec in bg (lvl24) and at lvl 50?

Going for this spec for my BG1 kobbie SB
21CS - For Perforate Artery
19Stealth - get +5 stealth from Items/SC
15Envenom - get +5envenom from items/SC = Really nasty dot
13Axe - get +5axe from items/sc (18axe) not a bad dmg base.
Then, I would suggest Mourning Rage OTD axe. As pointed out by a guildmate of mine, its the slowest axe in game for that lvl it is 8.3dps 6spd, your dmg cap at lv 24 is 8.4 afaik, its 100%aulity, which means super damage. Bonuses are +6str +3Axe
Sooo, not only with such a slow axe will you hit VERY hard, you will most likely one shot most if not all classes, and those you don't one shot drop, your lv20 Envenom (value:26/tick) will finish em off sharpish.
Anyway, this is what I have thought out for my kobbie. This is what I am working toward. Looks good, sounds good... will soon find out if it pays off!

Mitsu, a 5 spec can barely oneshot a caster. And most sb's are 5 spec. A critblade will oneshot casters with a slow 2-h.

Infs can perf for upwards of 800 on casters, with good CS spec and a 3.6spec 1hand weap... I refuse to believe a critblade can't do better tbh

I meant.. how usefull is a dot or debuff if you will kill the guy in 2 hits anyway? go for like 10 envenom and take lvl 2 snare.. will help you hit CD.

First off, whatever spec you are going - be a shadowzerk up until lev 40 - even though I could kill oranges with my Critblade with no PA it still takes longer due to more downtime. At 40 respec LA to what u want.
I autotrained stealth until lev 44 and am going:
44 Sword/CS
36 Stealth/Envenom
The autotrain means that by RR4 I am looking pretty sexy:
Sword/CS 44 + 11 + 3 = 58
Stealth/Envenom 36 + 11 + 3 = 50
Most specs require higher RR than this.
Because my sword/cs will be 60 at RR6 I really am not that bothered about speccing sword/CS higher than 44 initially - I think this might be a waste - I am pretty certain maxing both weapon and CS is a big mistake.
Envenom is pretty normal in most CB specs I have seen Hatts, if there is no envenom its a Soulblade. Do take the point about if u r gonna kill things in 2-shots... but u dont always land it successfully - snare can help.
In answer to the other Soulblade post I have seen I would simply swap the envenom in the spec above for left axe - all you are wanting to do is to have doublefrost (34 LA) to hack away with steel rather than rely on envenom after the initial opening smack of doom (PA).
As to 1-shotting, etc. With the new SC armours going on casters 1-shots are getting increasingly rare - there are very few good Critblades in the realm - I spoke to many of them while making Cialith - even with just the epic armour it is touch and go whether u can 1-shot a caster now.
I actually think that at some point in the future they may adjust SB damage upwards. My rationale - Mythic have come out and said that they want assassins to be non melee, patient stealthy killer types (ie assassins) they need to create an incentive to move people away from doing all their damage with Left Axe (principally a melee skill).
There has been adjustment to reduce their power in toe-to-toe melee correctly but currently due to SC armours they are underpowered in terms of damage output (if this is to be their only form of attack).
As most players have high body resists it is likely poisons (always cited by Mythic as a major stealther advantage) are becoming less and less useful in RvR.
I suspect therefore CS might get tweaked upwards in the future - LA can't be changed due to Zerks and the fact that it is very good as it is. If CS does get a tweak I would suggest it gets tweaked so that having a CS spec over 50 gives more dmg, over 55 much more dmg, to prevent the same benefit going to all the 5-spec SBs.
Otherwise there is no point at all being a SB - you might as well be a warrior and not bother with all the messing about with stealth and crappy armour - observe the damage done by a warrior with the ragnarok style (50 sword) below:

I like the fact that the SB has lots of different viable endgame templates - more classes should be like this - it would be a shame if everyone ends up being a 5-spec in the future.
