ive never had a buffbot at my disposal for any length of time, i mainly soloed to rr7 then was in guild groups to rr8.. not saying i havent ever used a buffbot.. but 99% of the times i was solo i was unbuffed and did fine aslong as it was 1 vs 1, up untill recently when a solo assassin is a rare sight.

But as you say, 'these' days it is much harder than it used to be for a unbuffed assassin.
