Belthar's Paladin Template

[Belthar]

I made this template for my pala.Its made of Artys, DF items, crafted items and quest items, so everybody can easily use it.

There were 2 objectives.One was to have as much defensive skills as possible.Trying to have resist capped, as much CON, DEX and HP as I can, capping Shield, capping AF and having Flask for 10% more healing on me.

Second objective was to slam as fast as possible. Now I know my QUI is low, but this is the best I could do. At least I capped Melee speed


Ceremonial Bracers is essential for pala, b/c we dont have Determination, so I had to put that one in too.

Remember, there are better items then these, but my goal was to make a template with NO ROG and NO items dropped from monsters. Also there are better util items, but a lot of them had crush resist, and I already had problems with too much of that.

Too many artifacts for me. I'd like someone to put together a template with the same principles, but using only the Sun Belt and either Aten's or the Chaos Shield.

The rest is standard PC and SC suit with easily obtainable quest jewelry. Can it be done?

The stats on VoS are for a BM, not a Paladin...

A quick sift through old threads turned up this thread, which I pulled some choice quotes out of;

I might drop the boots then, dont want to have something unknown in my template, but then again, I could first lvl the boots then adjust the template with the crafted items stats

Well, I still advise you to take Maddening Scallars. They wouldbe easy to level along with GoV and Khaos Shield and 10lvl ability is quite good

As for flask and harpy cloak, don't think they worth the trouble that much, you could try avoid them

here is the new template, almost same stats, but boots dropped out and bracer Band of Stars in, Harpy Cloak dropped and SoM in.

Also no more problems with crush resist, and have a bit more quickness

but had to put in some dropped items, the belt and a ring
