Being a bouncer

Anyone know what qualifications you need to be a bouncer? I know you do need quals despite them being so little... I'm a big lad and I can handle myself, family member suggested it but I just laughed at first, seriously considering it now tho.

Curious about taking the field of work up rep reward for good info.

Can't remember the name, but you need a licence and have to do a course to get it.

Nope wait, I remember now. It's an SIA qualification to be eligible for door and security work.

It's a crap job, bad pay, get sh*t all night, feel like crap or bored, seriously need a cool temper etc.

Think about it longer, then a bit more, then more.

You need to do a course, think its 2 weeks long, costs £400, or it was last year anyway. Once you have that doorman's license you are free to bounce.

I was a "bouncer" when I was in my second year at college. Doing the pubs was ace, but the nightclubs were a nightmare, especially when you got groups of pissed up lads just wanting a fight.

Oh, i'm pro at being a **** if I need/want to be as for putting up with peoples shite I grew up with 2 pure chav brothers, I can keep my cool.

Just ordered an SIA training guide pack so lets see how it goes, found out my nearest course is newcastle which isn't so bad, 10 minutes on a train.
