Nicely played Albsies, well done taking Behnn over the weekend, both times you took it I thought we'd never shift you from it.

Epic fight on the roof on Saturday night after we had retaked the keep, I know I've been slating the high RR Albs for not showing much support in everyday keeptakes, but you proved me wrong there :)

Tonight (last night?) we had reports of 130+ enemies in the Behnn area, and we were pushed back to Behnn 4 at one point, defending the bridge there, but I sorta pestered everyone into getting to the frontier (my /bg hit 123 at one point out of 287 online at that time, nice show Hibs! :) ) and we managed to retake Behnn 1 after bombarding it from up the hill, then a few valiant charges at the keep, only to find our rams were bugged beyond belief (too far away to control? eh? I'm sitting in it!).

Well done to the last remaining Hibs and Albs at about midnight GMT in the last fight for the keep and the towers afterwards.

/salute and more of this please! May not be as fun as open rvr, but it's damn intense lol

Gratz to both sides after the last few epic battles.

I seriously thought us Hibbies were beaten when we were forced to retreat back to a tower having broken through both the wall and the door at Behn.

/salute to Usp for his leadership, for being self determined and not bowing down to the vast numbers of opinions which suddenly appeared in the bg (lets hope we do not step back into that environment again).

/salute hibbies for not giving up despite it looking bleak at one point and despite the rams being bugged.

/salute albs for making the effort and making it hard. There were some damn fine battles ebbing and flowing which I guess is what NF is all about.

Enjoyed this weekend lots :) Nice to have tactical large scale rvr and smaller scale fights occuring round the keep too.

Would like to thank Snugglebot for keeping us together and driving us all on over the weekend despite some wipes and a stressful BG at times. Leading albion can be a total nightmare but she kept at it :)

Led the Alb BG in Da Behn the past 2 nights. It's been a lot of fun, hard work, but fun, yes I loved the epic roof top battle on the Saturday night.

I think albs are getting better at working as a team, I know over the past 2 days certain guilds and people have been great - Erodafira, Woody, Gwydion and all the GoP guys, Scunner and his Rising Force crew, Onigiri and PE, and Duracellus and AoD. All the above helped a lot of the past two days, so as the stressed BG leader who didn't always get it right, thanks guys

Seems like we are learning new NF things all the time, and improving tactics on them, noticed you hibs liked my treb placement on Sat night so much you used it today! <grin>

Thanks for some epic fights, and hope for some more! :D

Darklis, aka Snugglebot xxx

P.S. We ALL are getting the ram bugs, sooo annoying!

I try and thank the guys that have been especially helpful and I get a moan.. 95% of the people in the BG helped. Yes, I did omit the lufferly Conoor and UP from yesterday from the list but please note the time of posting, hell I was tired.

I think the one thing I would add is we still have people disagreeing with the BG leader publically and commenting on the every decision made (oh, hi Dwali..). I know some of the decisions I've made over the past two days haven't always worked and I think that all the albs that picked themselves up and got back to the target in question deserve a huge

:worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

No matter what guild people were from!!

Please don't feel offended if not personally named - I named most of the people that were in the command CG with me and being especially helpful (except Conoor who I missed, sorry hun! ).

Oh and a special thank you to Cosmochaos, who EVERY time we needed siege offered to go suicide and get it (think he has a death wish y'know!)

D xx

XPing through largescale rvr seems pretty viable these days, Platina's been doing it on her animist at least. I tried to do it on my bard, but lacking anything to do damage with (except that one time with some boiling oil) it sucked. I got to mezz Gamah tho!

Hehe sc tried its best with hit and run tactics near behn but very average success... However we did find a Warship near Beno ( ? ) filled with hibs. They all jumped of and went after us through the 2xTWF and even steered their Warship towards us to ram us! Was a fun incident :)

Big thanks to darklis for her hard work keeping the albs together and making things work, the first time we took behn there didn't seem to be very many defenders inside when the inner door fell (most had been distracted by crim or died and released?).. second time tho (on sunday) when there was 3-4fg of pbaoe and shrooms waiting, erk that was nasty, eclipse made some nice charges down to try and clear albs (at one point it looked like we were gonna wipe completely).. The fact that even when you got up some of the shrooms were untargetable really didn't help either :/

We eventually managed to organise the albs into an all out charge and right as we went up there was a massive lag spike (ty OT), so dunno if the tactics we came up with were what worked, or if it was just you guys lagged more than us :/

Not everyone may like the large scale fights compared to the open RvR for for the general server i think it gives people a sense of belonging to a realm and its nice to see the server so active.

If mids start doing this too it could get very interesting :)

The thing that turned the Lord's room battle (like most of the big battles recently) was the Reaver bomb. It's impossible to get away from and even though we get them down as quick as we can, it still took out half our force or more. When you charged we had relatively few people up and I think I was the only ani with any shrooms up at all.

I've got a feeling that until the bomb nerf hits we're going to be seeing a lot of battles swing Alb's way from that particular trick. Not that I mind - we use the tools we're given - but I'll be glad when it is less of one trick battle winner.

I bet Stalky and Sparda are the most popular people in Alb right now.

Hehe actually not always. Saturday I got caught in and around Behn with my L24 eldrich (already capped Thid xp) after you guys have breached the outer walls. Garotte spotted me and prolly could have 1 shotted me but instead gave me a nice hug and waved me on my way

Well, Wardens with twf3 can do almost the same thing, + BL, tho u have to organise it a bit. Btw, Wardens put down 3-4 TWF3, and everything is dead. 1000 dmg / 3 sec is good imo ^^. And there are much more wardens with TWF3 then reavers with twf3 (+ ml8).

Most the reaver bomb nerfs have already been made, they were in a quickfix patch. About the only one left to make is to make twf unstackable i believe

They will fix theese:

- TWF3 wont stack any more in 1.71 (and it haven't go resist atm, so it will be fixed too I think)

- SQ dmg will reduce as the radius reduce in 1.71 or 1.72 (and it's still Essence dmg, as I don't get any resists too *clap* to GoA...)

Stop using reaver bombs and we'll put our shrooms where you can target them, rather than where they can see you but you cant see them. :p
