I dont think you get what the original post was saying it was poking fun at the fact that the ministry of transport are advising drivers to drive on the wrong side of the road in their own country for a week or two before before driving in our country.

There's a very narrow road near where I live. Cars are double parked down both sides and its got speed humps every 40 metres. Since I allow enough time for my journeys I'm quite happy to wait 3 seconds and let someone pass by as I stop opposite a T junction. 85% of men will flash or wave thanks. Less than 5% of women do.

Women - what's your problem ? If we fail to show you any courtesy its on the front pages the following day. Egalitarianism in the sexes ? Pah ! Not yet, daddyo.

I think that the problem there lies with women not knowing when they have the right of way or when they are being given the right of way by another motorist. They just tend to drive on regardless.

Therefore a man will acknowledge you giving him the right of way because he realises it while a woman has no clue about what just happened and so just drives on.

C: Men should do the "chivalry" acts still, like open doors and give seats in crowded busses.
