i'm installing WoW atm.. i wanna know a few things though,
atm i am on a 28.8kb connection till may :/ sucks, but will i be able to play low population servers well with it?

and how big are the patch downloads?

But seriously. You wanna do 40+ megs each time on a 28.8?

The game MAY play smoothly when there's not too many people around but you'll have to play at 4am for that. But wait..by the time you download those patches it'll be....mmmm June?

I played on 56k for an afternoon (adsl was down), it was fine really, even in stormwind / ironforge. Patch downloads are going to be a killer though.

This kind of games dont need a very good connection to run ok, almost all the info about the game is allready in ur pc, thats why u need have a good one. The transfer rate is not very high, althought i wont reccomend u to use edonkey or any download at the same time, u should not have big problems. Anyway its better, ofc, to play in low population servers while u w8 for ur dsl/cable.
