Having been bed ridden last week I was faced with the prospect of killing time which I had to resort to DVDs and flicking through sky tv channels.

Just wondering if you were faced with a week sick, maybe flu for example what would you / have you done to occupy yourself? :)

Just read books, watch telly, have your dinner in bed on a tray or take your duvet onto the sofa. :)

What tris said. Probably masturbate occasionally if I felt up to it. But yeah, becoming high would be step one.

I've been playing FFXII recently. That could easily kill a whole week of bedriddenness.

Its true, after the pain of piles you can take anything.

I felt possibly the worst I have ever felt last week and all I could think was 'at least me arse isn't hurting'

I think as Wif and Callous implied..... it's fairly common medical knowledge that one can wank the sickness out of your body.... get rid of the poison as it where. Probably the reason you became so ill in the first place was not doing your duty. Allowing bad stuff to build up to toxic levels.... blah, blah.

Sleep/mixture of playing the PC but i find if i want to get rid of something fast sleep is the best way guess you're body can work better at fighting it when you're asleep.

I now have a cinema in my room, hooked up to my PC, DVD player and xbox.

I also have a fridge.

I could stay in this room for months tbh. What's more, I've quit my job and my notice period ends at the end of this month, so I fully intend to do fuck all for the next month or so.

Yay!

What nath said, Could easily wait out an ice age in my room :D

When ill I tend to go for RTS games, films, southpark/futurama episodes online, sonic 3 on the megadrive, eating lots of food while watching firefly or B5, and if all that fails, reading a decent book comes as the fallback plan :)

for the last few weeks I've been doing a (very) little website work, 99.9% of the time I've spent doing all of the above, plus riding my motorbike and going to the pub :D

If left to my own devices I tend not to get bored ;)

Yay!

A whole month of fuck all sounds great to begin with.

As I have found out recently you'd probably rather be working near the end of it. :p

Yeah, I expect that's how most people would feel. Not me though - I've got a wealth of experience in this field :D
