Personally I think Becks did make a pretty good captain and it'll always be a shame to see him without the band, but I did expect him to stand down after this cup.
As for next captain, I'd think that Gerrard would make a very good one, as it's always nice to see an attacking player put in charge, might shape things up a little along that line.
Could be terry or Neville, but always run the risk of becomming a overly defencive team
