I gave in and got a Facebook account at Christmas when my old college friends started using it exclusively to arrange meet-ups. Plus it's Less Shit™ for letting you import blog content from other sources; I maintain my personal site and Facebook automatically copies in the posts. That's neat.

Generics like MySpace and Bebo are of no interest to me; they're just sad pedlars of every social feature going and masters of precisely none. I will give some link love to Virb, since they put on a fucking great party at South By Southwest this year, with much free drink. Their site is less the suck, too, which makes me sound less corrupted.

I admit that I did have a bebo site once (and myspace too). I deleted them both when I felt the malignancy take over my soul with yet another bullshit friends request.
