Beauty [spin-off]

Ok... this is the spinn-off to Tohtoris spinn-off.
As you might have read, I`m not convinced of Tohtoris idea of a "general scale of beauty/hottness/whatever"
Now, I don´t want to hijack his thread any more, so instead, I decided to start this one. Simple question.. WHAT is beauty? Is beauty an absolute thing? Are there universal definitions of beauty? Do they apply to anything, regardless what it is?
OR is beauty nothing more than the result of many different manipulations?

Beauty as such, is personal and individual and very much "in the eye of the beholder", with many vikings and mages trying to pop it. You can't say what is beautiful to others, and what is not for some. You create your own definitions based on your own principles and taste and change them(if you're smart) accordingly over time.

You´re talking about sexual attractivity/hottness, not about beauty. Those two concepts are somehow vagually connected of course.

depends, there is the want to shag it stupid beauty and then there is the beauty that grows over time, kinda like love i guess.

and then there is the beauty of the soul some pretty women are ignorant bitches which automatically puts them in the ugly tree.
