In other news, you can see a nice film of orange brown dust on all the cars today in my part of Sussex, looking forward to the sunset.

We had it worst Thurs night/Friday early hours - my asthmatic friend had to use his inhaler 3 times that night and there was dust on my car and the suspicion of a sulphurous smell in the early morning (and for once it wasnt the pup :p ).

If you look closely at the sunset you can tell if theres volcanic dust in your area if the bottom of the sunset has a purple tinge to it.

Yeah - I saw a news story yesterday about a group of scientists who headed to Iceland to study volcano lightning - its very poorly understood apparently.
