while fixing my mother's internet I discovered a file that was allowed through the firewall called bcont.exe

anyone have any idea what it is? should I get rid of it? she has an HP/Compaq lappy with Vista on it.

heh I did that before I posted. The results seem to be people asking what the heck it is...just like me

Its the client side for a support solution supplied by Consona probebly as part of your HP package. You call HP CS, he pops up some software his end and asks for some details and hay presto he get access to everything he needs within your machine. Can be handy if not a little scarey
