Translation of report written by tiarna druid of merlin, posted here per request of random shadowblade who recently dinged einherjar on random healer =D
Last week from monday to fridar i had an opportunity to play with BC as a member of guild group.
BC Guild:
Large guild - havent seen less than 10 people online.
Many people are sitting in pve.
There are several leaders who gather groups, mostly players log in ask about place in group and logging (maybe logging on alts).
Group i was running in gathered approximatly at the same time with same members with minimal variations.
BC AS:
Quite lively /as, many pve info, rvr info exists but not much. /as groups doesnt exist.
Mids:
Emain is quite populated by them, from 60 to 120 people, running 1-2 fg.
Seen 94 ppl zerg once which went to take alline and camp hibs.
In 8vs8 they prefer not to add.
Emain cg is absent.
Albs:
Running 1 fg and zergs (15 fg). As always there are rr11 caster zerg leaders with bg bots. Always add, have a good system for info from stealthers, so moving after kill is a must.
Hibs:
Running 1-2 fg. Usually same faces. Leaving after several wipes in row. Seen zerg once - were taking keep in 40 ppl, then went to camp mmg, havent seen any other hib zergs.
There are good casters, druids, havent seen good bards.
BC RVR grp:
healer
healer
healer
shammy
bd/sm
zerk
zerk
skald
There was a small variation with healers, practically no other differences.
At the start of week seen 2 and 2.5 bc guild grp in emain, other days even 2nd group havent shown much acitivity. Were running separate groups, joining for keep takes and zerg busting.
There was a problem with enemies, when we were running in emain and tried to catch hibs/albs first due to mid overpopulation of emain.
Most fights were easy win. Lost 8vs8 only once to albs, when got jumped on med. Rest wipes were due to opponents outnumbering.
ML:
BC has high mls in general. Most have 10. Abusing zephyr, where enemies use it rarely - got zephyred once by albs and once by hibs, but havent got killed during zephyr time.
Skill, etc:
BC players show good skill, cannot say anything bad about them, as opposed to their opponents.Havent seen any group with good teamplay from alb or hib who had at least chance to win 8vs8. There are several good players but no groups with good teamplay.
When i was going to play with BC i expected to see, but couldnt following things on opponents:
good bards/sorc/anims
arts
MLs
assist (got killed fast only once, rest of time was attacked by soloers)
Comparison with USA Merlin:
Albs are same as on merlin, but excalibur ones show in 1 fg more often.
In bc groups someone always dies during fight, as opposed to our group on merlin.
Many hib bards use croc form, on merlin croc form was a rarity.
Most hib groups run with healing wardens as opposed to merlin groups who run 2 bards or bard/melee warden.
Conclusion:
Only problem is farming zergs for both our guilds. Dont see any other problems.
