They used to have the Muppet Show on BBC for a while then they canned it and haven't showed any repeats yet, which is strange for the BBC they will show the Christmas Special of Only Fools a million times but they will never re-show the Muppet Show.

Also recently I liked that BBC 2 comedy which was like a British Version of Scrubs with the guy from Armstrong and Miller and the guy from League of Gentlemen

I take it your discussing this because of the BBC's "Vote for the best sitcom"? located:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sitcom/index.shtml

Voting for the shortlist has finished now, but in 2004 you can vote for one of the top ten.

If I recall I picked Red Dwarf, Blackadder, My Family, Brittas Empire, One Foot in the Grave if it was 5, I can't remember now.

BBC1 and BBC2 are two distinctive brands, each with a different remit. That's why you see more comedy on BBC2. BBC1 is mostly there to inform/educate/entertain.

And anybody who says that satellite tv is better than terrestrial, then ROFL.

I did it a while back, cant for the life of me remember what I put in, but Red Dwarf and Blackadder was certainly in there.

Actually no, I was not aware of such a thing.
No I was just prevaricating.
Someone mentioned Brittas Empire, now that was a good one. For the first two series, then it went shit.

BBC 2 is comedy central now, and a fine job it does. :D

British comedy is miles better than American, only ones that come even remotely close is Will and Grace/Frasier.

Will & Grace is fantastic :p

Apart from that this new comedy The Crouches on BBC1 is ok really ;d

I actually watched that just to check it out.
What can I say...the worst comedy I've EVER seen in my life.
It was like so unfunny it hurt. The acting was piss poor and oh my god it was just unbearable.
