Beyond asking a few direct questions, didn't see anything that marks the presenter as a wanker. He does throw the surprise card of having witnessed some of the protest himself when Jody McIntyre is trying to paint the protesters with rose tinted glasses.
McIntyre may be right about the police, he may not. I don't see any need for the police behaviour in pulling him out of his wheelchair and it warrants investigation, but since the topic is the presenter's behaviour, I can't really agree with the original post.

A lot of the questions he asked are things that would be asked in court, and to be honest he probably got told in his earpiece that he had to stretch it another 5 minutes or something before they moved onto something else - such is 24hr news.

I think the cops involved deserve whatever is coming to them. However, I think they were suckered but if they're stupid enough to get suckered like that then they're too stupid to be policemen.

I don't know. I work at a news program and there is a lot less coaching from the control room than you think. Mostly questions are vaguely outlined before they go on by both the anchor and producers and then they just follow the flow of the interview with a mind for getting a few particular answers in particular. I guess different shows work in different ways, thankfully my show is nothing like fox. Although I will admit that while they try to claim they are completely unbiased we defiantly lean slightly left.

I don't see the presenter as being a cock, but then he isn't very disarming about the matter either. I blame the bit around 7 mins when the presenter says "but you do say you're a revolutionary?" as if that's a reason why he can be dragged about, wheelchair or not. That's close to being able to act against people for their free speech and smacks of terror laws. That's a very poorly pressed question from either that presenter or the beeb in general. 
Whatever this bloke spouts on the ze interweb shouldn't be linked to his presence or situation at the demonstration. Simple fact is, if he really has got CP as bad as it seems, he wasn't ever a threat. The dude is in a wheelchair, wheel him out the way - even if he puts up a fight he shouldn't be able to stop you. The footage did show some dragging, not just falling out the chair.
