I'll watch the preview when I get home. I watched the first episode of Eureka last night and they kept having "Extended Preview of BattleStar Gallactica Season 3 coming up"

So I wonder if there's a longer one than the You Tube one.

There's a recap show doing the rounds at the moment. Very good if you can't be assed watching season 1 & 2 (Although why you wouldn't is beyond me) and just as good to remind yourself of what has happened.

The end of season 2 left me a bit cold tbh. I just felt like, "Oh, how convieeeeeeeeenient!". I am looking forward to season 3 tho to figure out the apparent balls up and lazy writing that ended season 2.

If you want to see the websodes it's going to have to be Youtube, since SciFi have restricted them to the US only. Oh, and you'll want to be fast because they're being pulled from there too.

It really annoys me when they restrict things to the US. It's tempted to rent a server in some US state and us it to download these to the UK. Just stupid marketing to stop a big part of your fan base from seeing these things.

Anyone know if they are going to be on the SCI-FI Uk site?

I thought it was pretty good. And the way their justify terrorism and even suicide bombing is very funny considering the source country. Perhaps its a metaphor!

Fantastic start to the season. BSG had a slow start(imo) but it's gotten better and better.

Wow, very dark indeed. I'm not sure what the yanks reaction to the suicide bombings storyline will be, but myself I quite like it. Perhaps the writers are attempting to show the other side of the argument, unfortunately its a bit skewed since I don't believe the allied forces round people up to be shot. I wonder what will happen to Roslyn and the others then? I can't believe they all get killed so easily.

Yeah, but then I don't think it's a 100% statement about Iraq. It's clearly saying some things about it but it doesn't mean that one has to look for real life equivalents of everything in the show.

I think it is, however, shaping up to be one of the best shows on TV at the moment. So fantastic to find a show that gets better, not worse, with each new series. Lets hope they can keep it up.

That last episode was just absolutely AMAZING.

I was muttering about how odd it was that Casey was older than Hera, but I still didn't twig the twist. Ellen's death was really sad - fantastically written character, pulled you through the gauntlet of empathy and hate. Such a predictable but still resolutely YAY moment when the Pegasus dropped in. I'm actually glad that the battlestar died, as I didn't much like the fragmenting of relationships. Really looking forward to the fall out from housing the collaborators and the resistance back together. Love this show!!
