Looks like next season will be the last , reality TV shit seems to be taking over and all the decent TV is ending or getting cancelled.

I'm glad the next season is the last. Its an utterly brilliant show and I think having a proper planned ending without any bullshit flying motorbikes or super-club-kids is what it needs

As sad as it is I agree with Tom. What I don't want to see is another X-Files style travesty.

I don't think it was planned though.

Scifi were initially supposed to order 2 more seasons of 13 episodes (probally so they could syndicate it) with a couple of tv movies.

They orginally ordered 13 episodes for season 4 but then ordered an additional 9, they probally told the producers to wrap the show up with the 9 episodes.

While we are only going to lose 4 episodes the thing that concerns me is these 22 episodes wont be as good as the 2 x 13 episode seasons, main reason for this is they probally wont get 2 seasons worth of money to film.

Guess the main thing to be thankful for is that SciFi didnt just pull the plug and leave the story unfinished

Of course there is still that spin off based on caprica that might still see the light of day.

I also think its a rather good thing that it wont go on forever - it is at its peak now, and it wont be able to sustain that energy forever. Lets just hope the writers and the rest of the team can finish strong.

Original Series had strange Space Bikes and they could 'cloak' there smaller ships.... this was all when they found earth and that strange Numa Numa looking kid was making technology for them.

I agree with the calls that the series should be wound up, and not end up like Lost (which should have ended at the end of S3).

Saying that, i'll be watching the new BSG in a few hours (glee!) and it's inspired me to download BtRL again for a bit of nostalgia gaming. Anyone up for multi ?

Actually, Lost has gotten good again recently.
