It's mediocre at best. Sequals usually end up like that, lacks the initial shock factor and psychological aspect of which the first movie posessed. Movie just ended up being totally confusing and warlike with shooting all the time.

Better off watching the original masterpiece again

in Battle Royale 2 there wasnt the 'pitting friends against eachother' thing. thats one part of why its crap. the second part is because the director of the first movie died halfway through making the second one and his son took over, and all his son's movies are shite (Sukeban Deka, while entertaining because it was about a girl using a yo-yo as a weapon, was still shit really. I only liked it because Matsuura Aya was the lead.)
