Could probably see Dominic Monaghan (Yes, the hobbit guy) having a good crack at it, even if he's a lot shorter than Heath (missing the slight stoop of his joker character).

I'd really need to see it a second time tbh.

First impressions were slightly underwhelmed if I'm completely honest, and I'm a huge "comic book"/superhero film fanboy.

Looking forward to Hellboy 2 though :)

it would seem the talk is not of the joker returning in a new version but rather Depp as the Riddler for the third movie,

I watched it tonight and I really enjoyed it, Ledger is a brilliant joker although I dont think he deserves an automatic oscar for it but Hollywood being as it is he probably will get one. Aaron Eckhart is really good as Dent but as people have said already
I do wish they had made more of Wayne and Harvey's friendship before the incident as that seemed to be lacking, plus I do hope Two-Face returns as he is one of the best bad-guys in the batman world imo
