I doubt he did - more likely he walked on while they were practising, likely with a light meter to see what was what. DoPs normally don't handle the camera.

Oh I know that, just wondering what kind of amatuer would be stupid enough to walk on stage while the cameras are rolling. Doesn't make much sense. If it was a rehearsal, the scene wouldn't have been ruined and there would be no cause for reaction?

dude probably was deep in character, considering the movie.

One of "those" actors that don't know how to stop the character :p

Good on him, I like Bale and he takes his work seriously (see The Machinist)

'Tis true, while he's out of order I understand why he's reacted like he has.

It is quite funny, and by the sounds of what Bale says it isn't the first time it happened.

BBC got hold of it, and made it bigger news then it could have possibly ever been by not bleeping out the swear words :D BBC NEWS | Entertainment | BBC 'sorry' over Bale swear gaffe Poor Bale :( wonder how the public will view him now, no doubt they all think he's the devil and should be burned at the stake. He does actually look like a vampire I noticed ;o

Family Guy. A once great show that has gone really, really out of its way to become shite. Fortunately every now and then there's a watchable episode and I still watch it, but it's now a middle giggle compared to the brilliance of S1-3 (and some of 4).

While I agree that the quality has sagged a bit, I think you're being a bit harsh. It's still got some good laughs in it.

This week's episode was a prime example of how hit and miss it has become.

Joe's baby being born, wheelchair first - hit

A 3+ minute rendition of Everything I Do and a 2+ minute reworking of an internet clip everyone's already heard and it's particularly funny makes a quarter of the program.

The 'plot' of this episode was so tenuous it pushed family guy even to the limit of just random shit happening. They spent so much time focusing on the unfunny random shit that happened in the episode they had to cut the whole thing short and wrap up the entire plot over the end credits.

Family Guy was funny when it had a plot and humour was derived from this plot and from the characterisation. The characters aren't characters any more, they're simply comic props. This is why The Simpsons went to shit. It became too random and the characters stopped behaving like themselves, and were just tools to perform jokes through. At least The Simpsons has the credit of having to resort to that after going for such a long time of high quality...

Cartman is right though.

It's amusing, if you watch the DVD commentaries by Parker & Stone about Cartoon Wars, they say that after the airing of the show all the writers behind things like King of the Hill and The Simpsons phoned/wrote to them thanking them for saying what they've all been thinking and highlighting how lazily written the show is.
