Barrysworld.com email addresses - Pondering the Problem

If you buy a domain, you don't buy it with the knowledge that there are 100's of people waiting to pounce on you so they can use the domain you just paid for as their email address for nostalgia's sake.

Mine was a technical question, rather than a wether someone would want to or not question. Also, presumably the guy who appears to have hijacked it knew what he was doing.

The could do it, but game still OWN the barrysworld name, so they'll probably retain full ownership and registration of all the online multiplayer assets such as domain names 'just in case'.

Technically, what you've suggested is fairly simple.

However, Game won't do it, and Deebs doesn't want to do it, so it isn't going to happen.

GAME are not ever gonna release the barrysworld.com/org/net domains. They are a brand they own.

GAME are not ever gonna forward email for the above domains.

GAME are going to shut it all down on the 23rd January, 2004.
