I actually have a good idea which pub to use, The Holyrood Tavern for anyone who knows Edinburgh. They've let me borrow the backroom free of charge on weekend nights before, and laid on cheap food, though its sandwiches/crisps, not peppered chicken and chips like the last BB.

And suggestions for dates? I'll need at least a month to get it organised, so we are looking at a Saturday night in April. Friday night will see far too many people who can't attend, I feel.

website... if I didn't do it all damned day I'd help but I get burnout when I get home...

Superb choice of pub used to live in there...

Myself I'd like the 5th - 19th is easter weekend and I'll be down south.

Flying is cheap, but only on certain days/weeks. I took the train to the last BarryBeer, since it cost the same as flying, and was less hassle.

Oh well, I'll check the air fares, if not train it is as I don't fancy the 19 hours or whatever it is by coach.

Cant make it after all - we cant afford to stay overnight somewhere at the moment. Last train southbound leaves at 7.30 that evening - next one is 9am next morning.. we dont fancy kipping at the station

I've been kicked into doing one for the Clan and they fortunately cover many people from the forums so I guess I can extend it into a mini BarryBeer and see who turns up. Once I've got more stuff sorted I'll start a new thread and look forward to more pea and peanut based attacks.
