Judging by your name, your spelling and the tone of your reply, you're obviously a chap of great intellect who took the time to play the game and would know how much work would go into making a custom version of this game for BarrysWorld.

A number of other major websites have placed custom versions of our game on their sites ( Blues News currently carry our logo, and a custom version ), Demo News, Mame World etc, so the quality of our title is not in question.

Thanks for your enlightening comments though, I'm sure your mother loves you...

Also, I checked out your homepage at...

http://www.hax0r.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

...and seeing your potential as a creative force would like to offer you a position as both a web designer and lead artist on our next online game...

Just ignore hin, I doubt he has played the game.

I actually thought it was quite good, even though I was crap at it :) I thought it was a wee bit hard actually.

Although going back on what I originally said, (i.e further replies)
You say whatever it is you're advertising is advertised by Blues news (Shit site anyway, but lets presume for the time being it is actually half decent - s-club 7 get lots of publicity and sales, but are their records decent? So yes, the quality of your title is in question.

Ironic really, you try to sound intelligent, yet still resort to the cliched "UR MOTHER".

Please fuck off.

You haven't actually said why. And the game is actually half-decent.

Thanks MT,

Thanks for taking the time to play our game.
When we did the playtesting we actually had to decrease the difficulty level quite a bit, but we think we have found the right balance ( practising will eventually pay off in later levels ).

And CC, since you finally said "please", I'll take your advice and won't waste any more bandwith entering into any more correspondence with you ( or your mother ). The job offer still stands though.

looks nice, shame my pc isnt fast enough to run it :)

and they took the time to add something special for BarrysWorld, so fair play to them advertising here imo

Cage, shut up; I mean it this time. Shouting at anyone who uses BW to tell people about something, especially non-commericial (and asking for feedback, what's wrong with that?) makes you look like a bit of a twat. SLiC3r I can let you off with, but otherwise, it's gh3y.

And to the guy who started this: I would play it but I can't really be arsed right now, maybe later when I have more time...

Shame it is quite clearly commercial then. Given the price-tag.

I didn't like the game either, tbh.

It's a nice game, if a little difficult as MT said. And CageCunt, fs shutup. Every thread that has been started by someone wanting feedback on something that they've spent a lot of time creating, you've ponced in with your stupid fucking arrogant attitude. Drop it.

Cor, anyone remember Thrust on the BBC Micro (and it's clones on the C64 etc).

Excellent game this - levels could do with being a tad larger and as i recall the ball you pick up had intertia in later levels which made things much more difficult. Must find that BBC emulator i have somewhere...

:)

J

P.s Ignore CC. If you put "CageCunt" into google it comes back with "Just ignore him, nobody cares"

The funkiest feature of this thing is the 3d pause thing, thats pretty suave. The rest is just irritating. Oh, and there desperately needs to be an option to turn the fucking annoying sounds off.

After reading this I think I will avoid clicking those links :p

GRRRR! I got right to the end of the BW level. I had just put the blue ball in the blue pot jobby, and I was happily flying across the pot jobby to victory when it automatically grabbed the ball and dragged it out of the pot jobby. As this happened, the wall thingy came back and I was trapped in it. :(

Perhaps making spacebar pick up the balls as well as drop them (ie, don't do it automatically) is a plan? :)

fairly phat, I remember playing the original version of this on the 8-bits (Lander, wasn't it?) Retro recreations are what Shockwave does best :D

oh, and ignore Cage. He is, and always will be, a sad little attention seeking boy.

Hmm, the advanced level isn't so much challenging as tedious. Nothing more annoying than getting the red ball all the way back to the start and then dying trying to get the green one back. :/

It does. Infact, the automatic pick-up was utterly annoying, I found. It should just be removed, there's no point in documenting the spacebar as a feature if its not really needed.

Did you ask to use the BW logo on that commercial site? I suspect not

We have placed the Barrys World version on a private area on our web site so only people reading this posting know where it's at.

We are getting in contact with people from Barrys World at the minute but sometimes it can be difficult to get in contact with the right people, so by posting it here as well as eMailing the team we can let you guys give your comments and suggestions on the game, and also we can increase the chances of someone relevant from Barrys World seeing their customised version of our game.

We've had a number of different comments and suggestions about Balls Up, but as with any game some features are really liked by some people, and the same features are not liked by others. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Although the difficulty level of Episode 2 will definitely come down a bit, as well as later levels being larger, Episode 1 was designed as a technology demo that just happened to be fairly polished and playable and that we thought we'd release on the world to get some feedback.

We hope ( most of ) you enjoy playing it! Keep sending comments and suggestions, they are all taken on board...

care to point to these threads? (Although, replace Cagecunt with half a dozen user names and you'd be correct)
