I was actually joking about going, but I happened to mention it toi Mrs Wil and she just said "you going then??":eek6:

So, it would appear that I will be coming!!

Anyone tell me how to get from wherever we are going to wherever Mrs Wil's old flat is?? (New Southgate)

I also realised it clashes with a pissup on the Saturday with some friends :)

If we can:
a: lose kids for night
b: raise dosh for train and booze
c: be certain we can get a reasonably late train back to the sussex coast
Chalky and I may well turn up.
However unless the bods in last years photo's aren't as young as they look I think we may feel a little old and so get disgracefully pickled!!
Fingers crossed.................Paartty

Talking about Trains...

Does anyone know of a Website which gives you information on Ticket prices / Locations (From one Train Station to another)...

If you understand?

well theres thetrainline.co.uk - but that only gives destination selection and changes and times and shit. I think it had a link to somewhere that did do prices, though.

I'm probably quite wrong, as I've not had to check for months.

SG, take a look at the website for your local train company... It might be that you would have to switch trains, however if not, they'll have the prices/times for their own trains.

Thetrainline does break a fair bit, railtrack.com also has the timetables & such, but is shit by comparison so only use in an emergency.

hmm, yeah that one helped a bit

because ive never actually used a Train before, it says i have to use 3 Trains to get to the Destination...

Each time i change Train, does that mean that i have to pay an extra <£xxx> to go to the next Station?

Im scared of taking somethin like £50, and ending up with nothing when i get there..

(I would have thought £50 be enough for return tickets but now im not sure...)

No, you only need the 2 tickets, one from where you're starting to where you're ending up & another doing the mirror journey to get you back home (i.e. a return ticket).

Problem is if your doing a long journey you have to get the bloke behind the ticket window to get your ticket & thats easier said than done these days.....

goodness. a plane ticket is less expensive than that :eek6:

ok.. good, so, i tell the guy at the Ticket Office at the start of the Journey where im going, and he gives me a Ticket (Return too?) so i dont have to give Money to the others at the other station? Sounds fair..

Im just worried a tadbit tho, of like, getting a Bus in Manchester... i have a *type* of Scouse Accent... so i fear for my safety at the Bus Station :eek6:
