as they are active on the vn boards about gathering information regarding different classes this was recently sent to mythic as feedback from players with suggestions about bards. as bd's got a mega nerf and others got love as was requested in other feedback reports maybe they will now update bards and give us somemore things to play with and give more to fg's.

Class Ability
Overall Class Defense
At the moment the Bard class has one form of defense in Evade II. We lack the ability to Parry/Block and must rely on Realm Abilities and Master levels in order to survive outside of the 8v8 setting, as well as having the lowest ABS % in the Naturalist line with RF Armor, and the community would like to see a change somewhere that would make us more survivable when exposed to combat.
Suggest: Access to Physical Defense, self ABS buff, unint. HoT or literally anything to increase our survivability.

Maddening Scalars
Bards may only access the melee version of the Mad Scalars gloves. The caster version would facilitate additional armor templating options for Bards. Bards should be able to choose between melee and caster versions of the gloves. Alternatively the versions could be combined into one artifact, similar to what was done with Guard of Valor

Music Spec
Confuse has a long cast time (3.5 sec) and short range (1350). In today's RvR environment these are much to limiting to use the spell to its full potential.

Bards are the only music class without access to a second DD shout. Access to a second shout would improve a Bard's ability as an interrupter for grouping and help out melee oriented Battle Bards

Nurture Spec (Bard)
Bards are currently the only endurance giver that cannot guarantee endurance will be up after combat starts. Request that the endurance chant be made uninterruptible or instant.

The Nurture spell line is a barren line. It consists of 3 spells, all of which *every* bard is forced to spec (Speed/Endo/PoT) to help the Realm. The Bard community would like to see more utility added to this line, or have the spells moved to the Music line.

Bards are forced to use the most powerful spells they have in their spell list, resulting in the Bard burning through power faster than desired. [Specifically our Mez/AE Mez and Direct Damage spells, which we must spam as part of the interrupt wars] Request that the power cost on these spells be reduced or open up access to lower level spells.

Request a client-only cast animation option attached to the Dreamweaver model. This would allow Bards to see their own casting animations and spell effects while prohibiting other users to see animations and spell effects.

Dreamweaver player models should be updated to include the Minotaur race and armor/weapons from the Labyrinth of the Minotaur.

The Speed of Sound effect is broken when a Bard plays songs. Songs are passive abilities that should not break the Speed of Sound effect.
