Soz what i was saying was look at Pry to Excali per class and see who is doing what to who on each Eng Server.

P v P will be ssssssssoooooo bad 7 to 10 k players looking to play on one server forget it.

even a lvl 40 char can ding 1 mil rp these days nicky... Dont you feel very hunted in a random 8v8 match? Dont you see yourself eating instamezz or stun, or always get some caster/tank on ur tail? I can tell you why..

if bard get aemezz in, its game over man.
if bard doesnt, its often very tough for the hibs to win, since they have no instamezzers (only qc stuns)

Trust me, I've been playing far most FG (or 6+) group rvr and we always try to stay away from the zerg if there is anything to hunt. If I see hibs, I _ALWAYS_ go straight to the bard with sprint, and I dont care if it will get me killed, as long as the bard doesnt get to cast aemezz. Bard is the most feared class for me in rvr when it comes to FG vs FG fights.

Damn healers just look like dooorfs!!

Well could say the same of healer, except even when I get a nice opening stun with hammah I know I can't down a healer alone (he'll come out of stun and insta at the last minute, it's a matter of very few hps, but usually it's enough).

And healers don't have signs over them to show us who to kill, number of times I felt silly rushing a thane with small shield, DON'T KILL OR MEZZ THE THANES!! they're the only free group purge you will get!!

I say if bards have notes of death, Healer epic armor should be white with a huge red cross on chest :)

im not so sure anymore

i charge bard and stun so interupt casting so know its not him, but im always paralysed by some other class, assume its a hib caster stunning me but its weird that it almost seems like a insta ae stun ;p

It is probably a mage who saw u charging and tried to stop u with stun, but u got in your stun just b4 casting time is over.
And ae stun. I wish. :D

And going for the bards is a good tactic. When i come upon a grp of albs i always look out for the mage castin the mezzes and try to kill them asap. (if i don't get mezzed that is).
But seriously, bards have a bad time with those notes. Everyone can recognise a bard on sight. But a sorc could be any one of those alb casters (can't tell till first mez is being cast unless they are silly enough to have a pet with them on follow) and healers. Well, grr, instas and it's damn impossible to tell who is and who isn't. If not the epic armour red cross thing then some big beam of light should shine out of the sky onto them whenever they cast a spell. Sometimes even after the insta mez u can't tell who cast it.
Perhaps we should start having 2 bards in grp as standard. One playing speed and another equiped with weapons to try and camouflage himself in grp. That way speed guy gets charged but other bard casts the mez. Of course, once we get instas all will be changed. :D

I always like to have a bard in an rvr grp, draws the aggro away from me at the start. :D

I actually can't think of a time I wasn't running in between hero's with a couple of armsman stuck on my back, bowman shooting me, being iced, snared, rooted, perfed, bolted, smitten(?) etc...anyone that thinks playing a bard is piss easy, think again. Next time there is a major fight, look at the amount of banjo wielders lying on the floor. I look forward to seeing you all on PvP, the only thing that pisses me off is you get the insta-mez, baseline cures and Realm Abilities.

Just taking my frustrations out on you lot because I think i was cheated, my char does none of teh uber stuff...whenever I run into the middle of a battle and press my win button my screen flashes red...

I think my win button is an arrow magnet...I am the token GIMPED bard.

My point exactly because nicky is saying whoever has the most rps is the best. Ive only got 300k myself, this is not because im a poor class or a poor player, its because i spend a lot of time playing alts to help the guild etc. In fact if i had an RvR played time, i think my average would be on par with yours eleas.

Rps dont show nothing except the amount of time you play the char in RvR in my opinion.

Ofc that is true to a point, but skill must come into it somewhere. If you don't think so, then I don't see why you play the game. :rolleyes:

I think he means that RP's are not a true measurement of skill, I agree with him. It will become a much better measurement when they take, healing, cc(+rooting), rezzing etc into account, then measure it against /time spent in frontier zones. Even then it won't be an accurate reflection.

I know that is what he meant. However, I think that healing/cc/rezzing is taken into account of rp's to an extent. The support classes do well at this, then your group stays alive and earns more rp. "Main" or dmg dealing classes can do f'all without support classes (except stealthers).
I know that if you stay around 24/7 in emain that you're going to get rp regardless of skill/class, but I would still like to think that they can mean something, even in the case of a support class. They don't mean everything though and I am sure that everyone in your realm know who the good bards are from playing with them and not from rp totals.


And no, I will not tell anyone my played time.

tanks live longest so get most rps ;)

every1 jumps on the casters/instrument ppl first in any fight so they will get less as they die first ;)

i have f'all rps and i leech from a very good rvr group ;/ only thing is die less than ignea as ppl go for him first ;p
