bard template, comments please

after trying for 100 hours this is what ive come up with

im not entirely happy with it as i want 10 range and more spell duration

going with traitors dagger and cyclops shield for shadeform and stealthlore and scepter in 2hand slot

seems not bad to me, youve got the dex cap which is important and some more hits which is a good

duration and cast speed seem no too bad tbh

im not the best person on these template things for bard but the one im planning on using is very similar only without the dreamsphere and crown but i might be tempted to actually change to this one after reading this

edit: will be a f00ker for leveling all those artis mind u

zahur and cloudsong charges are useless on bard as u cannot have 2 pulseing effects at the same time activated.. which is why a warden shouldnt have it as well as a bard as a song is a pulse.. - also the bard version gives char cap not dex cap..

dreamsphere morph isnt that great and wont help u as it has no real special effects... and as soon as u are hit it deactivates... the original good effects where taken away as they where seen to be overpowered.
Also useing group morph wont win u any friends as anyone who has used a morph now has the effect that as soon as they are hit they become humainoid again (not sure if this has been fixed since last patch).

I would think croc form or EoY would be more useful..

I am not 100% sure but i dont think spell duration effects mezzing duration..

It is a good template, i am just letting u know some flaws u may find with it, so u can descide if u want them in your template or not.. hope it helps

i think a panther isnt as bad as the new nerfed crocodile is it ?
and i guess a panther is better then a bard holding a lute

can any1 confirm if spell duration realy doesnt increase mezz time ?

spell duration should increase mezz time, duh, why wouldn't it? only reason i can think of is a bug which should be fixed asap. dunno why you want shapeshifts, i think there's far more useful things to get for a bard. i made this template a while ago and i think its better ability-wise:

Zahur crown doesnt seem to fit too well, i'd remove that and add soot tainted boots or malamis belt to cap dexcap (or both and remove immolated).

Also getting zoarkat to cap range would be nice. (or sash)

Dreamsphere isn't bad if its already leveled, the self only morph doesn't break when hit. I'd get another gem though if you still have to do the leveling.

Croc dont get nerfed till next patch. also, even when its nerfed the lvl 5 will b the current lvl 10 proc and the lvl 10 proc will be a minature version of it.
Many bards dont have alot of morphs simply cos they wanted EoY so thier group can last even longer... aoe rez 4tw..
Well VF i wasnt 100% sure if it inceased mezz duration... would be interesting to find out...
I would recomend VF's template if your gonna RvR.. simply cos its got the chance for more mana potential and mana regen charges from the arts and zo'arkat to disturb healers/mages
