Arsenal played them up with just 10 men, Arsenal really deserved this win in my opinion.
Might be deserved over the whole tournament, but through this game, it was no way near deserved, at least in my opinion ;p

Barca had a goal disalowed at the start also remember
as well as the fact Arsenals only goal was through diving ^^ and shouldnt have been allowed in the first place, so no they didnt deserve it.
BUt yes i meant throughout the tournament
we can all guess what the performance would have been like but at the end of the day Barca won

Imo it was a good game, as for the ref ? well sure he had a few lets say doutfull calls but over the game as a whole he did ok'ish imo exept for the disallowed goal situation, where imo he should have given the advantage and goal and a yellow card to the arsenal keeper. and sure the the arsenal fans will now say that the red card made the difference, well had the 1-0 held out it would have been the barca fans complaining over the disallowed goal.. as for barca well it's understandeble they didnt storm ahead as pr usual, they were nervouse and it is a final after all so can hardly blame them for playing a tactical game. As for the chap saying that the sub keeper was crap ? i very much disagree, first of all he can hardly be blamed for the 2 goals against him and further more he had some great saves and interceptions. imo arsenal put up a god fight and hey played better than i've seen them do in a while, but barca still were the better team on the day and during the ternament as a whole so the right team won in the end.

Whilst he had no option to send off Lehman, the ref on the whole was an absolute disgrace. He let Barca kick lumps out of Henry. Henry retailiates with a fair tackle and gets Yellow carded. I feel that if it was 11 v 11 Arsenal would of won no problems. Saying that, Barcas first goal was class, well worked goal, the second, the keeper was shocking.

Tell you what though, Toure is absoloute class. Wonder if he has let Ronaldinho out of his pocket yet?

The Referee was a fucking wanker, he killt the game tbh, he should have giveing the keeper a yellow card an give barcelona the goal. Was also stupid when henry got a yellow card for playing the ball
but henry should have made it 2-0 tbh

Another thing that struck me last night was Ronaldinho. Im sorry, but he is no where near the class Maradona was. Ok, in la liga he can take the piss but come on!! La liga is a hell of alot weaker than Seria A or the premiership. Ive yet to see him perform on the big stage. The stage was set for him and he just didnt step up to the mark. Maybe he will prove me wrong in the world cup but I wont hold my breath as he will be up against world class defenses, not shower of shite like Osasuna, racing, Athletico etc.

He made a great save from Eto'o, tipping it on to the post, but how can you say he wasnt at fault for Balleti's goal?? He megged him at the near post, thats as shocking as you can get!!

Ref ruined the game. Play on from Lehman's foul... 1-0 and still 11v11 makes for a potentially great final. Instead he turned it into attack v defence for 70 minutes. In addition he was totally inconsistent with the yellow cards. Then Arsenal's goal comes from a dodgy freekick, while Eto was clearly offside for his goal. Him and his linesmen got every key decision wrong. Happens too often that great European games are f*cked up by shit officials.
