I just received my first ever permanent ban, on my favourate 24-7 assault server. Im gutted. I don't even know why I was banned. Just - bing - gone.

If it was BW CS,

Admins dont need to give a warning if they suspect you of cheating.

Its kind of like a trump card they can use at any time to get rid of people they dont like.

All they need is some line like "That Headshot was a bit dodgy" and your gone.

But, it wont be permanent unless a demo is recorded and sent to the CS liaison. Admins can only place 24hr bans.

Actually, I did play against a cheater today who used a speed hack, but he was shite at it, with a 5-6 score

nah it wasn't a bw server. I was a terror inside the building, nr the crates at the back door. I shot and killed 2 cts in 2 brief bursts, and moved toward the main door to snipe some guy on the bridge. I was backing off, cos I had like 7hp, then I got banned.

Its really annoying, I played that server all the time, good pings, good fun. I think it was spite, cos one of the cts could have been the admin (he had the clan tag on)

He kept on leading the pesky enemies to me, and in my vain attempt at saving him had to kill them all

Oh how I long to be good and get accused of cheating

I've only been accused once...and it gave me a warm feeling inside.

I had a score of 20-3 and that was the fifth best score...so the T's were probably right to be hacked off at us ..

I dont think BOT programs have the capability of shouting "CHEAT" and then kicking you
