I doubt that they'd ban someone for standing behind a tree, there wouldnt be many people left on the servers.

Therefore he must have been abusing a bug to appear to be inside the tree, they dont ban anyone without some sort of evidence so I don't really see the problem, dont abuse bugs and you dont get banned

And the defence of Mythic/GOA have known about the bug for ages and havent fixed it so it's their fault is just so much horseshit.

Doesnt matter who you are, what rr, how popular you are on forums, or whatever.

and with that u can hide in several large trees...if this is a bug abuse...then they should update that in the classic client...cause in the classic that is called a feature.


so if this happened in the classic client , ban everyone that ever uses their own client.

For those saying it's not possible to hide in a tree using ToA client, you're wrong. There are a number of trees in agramon with which it can be done. Discovered this by having a typing auto-run group leader before where they ended up walking into the tree. The good thing is that wherever They've been found so far is not close to where fights usually break out otherwise it could become a bigger problem.

And yes, purposefully making yourself invisible inside a tree is the same as doing it inside a wall (if you can be targetted). Theres a diference between hiding behind something so it's difficult to be seen and hiding INSIDE something where from every angle it's not possible to see you. Where this incident was a little more innocent, imagine if/when casters decide to use this in FG fights where you just cant see them at all. This is a good way of showing that those who abuse the bug will be warned...

Admition of doing it on purpose, knowing the bug is there and using it to not get killed. and you get banned for that. a 3 day break to play some RL. I dont really see any problem with that ban.

Lets say you got away with it, what about next time you are there and wanna escape dying? you would pretty sure do it again.

And running straight to use the bug at the sign of trouble? dont really sound like you never ever did it before does it?

Take your 3 days slap gracefully, play on and never use bugs again.

i dont think you get it, i_didnt_know_it_was_there, as i said i was running from a fg and hid behind a tree, then noticed i could fit myself inside it, so i did but they seen me in the act and killed me, its not as if i thought 'i know ill go to that realy c00l uber bug were noone can see me and ill fool them all lolz!!'

maybe i should have explained the first post.
