If you were INSIDE the tree, it's actually understandable since it probably fucks up the targetting. Though, if you stood behind it, like druids, healers, clerics has done forever.. Then it's fucked up

You can't be INSIDE the tree, it only appears so with classic trees as the core model uses toa tree parametres! Only trolls and firbies are visible in such occassions. Blame the player? I don't think so!

Nothing wrong with it tbh since you have both LOS and can target, just that you're not "visible". Was the reason that animists shrooming inside trees didnt get banned iirc, since you can both kill the pets and target them, even tho you can't see them.

I know if you are running classic engine, and you stand right beside a tree, from a person playing the ToA engine, it will often look like you are inside the tree. If this is the reason for this guy being banned, then I guess we have to add it to our list of things we can stupidly be banned for.

1) No swimming above water if you are <20% hp.
2) No standing beside trees incase enemy is using a difirent client version.

Dunno if it was you I saw the other day on Lagramon. Could see a realm rank title in a tree but couldnt target you. I assumed it was a lag ghost.

I doubt that they'd ban someone for standing behind a tree, there wouldnt be many people left on the servers.

Therefore he must have been abusing a bug to appear to be inside the tree, they dont ban anyone without some sort of evidence so I don't really see the problem, dont abuse bugs and you dont get banned

And the defence of Mythic/GOA have known about the bug for ages and havent fixed it so it's their fault is just so much horseshit.

Doesnt matter who you are, what rr, how popular you are on forums, or whatever.

You abuse a bug, you deserve a ban
