lol thats totaly different, if u dont have any money to pay your debt you wont have any money to leave to family, if your leaving money behind then u can clearly afford your debt an thats fair enought

but your family arent paying for it, its still your money

It depands what kind of debt it is, if it's for example unsecured debt (i.e overdraft/credit cards) and you are a signatory on that account i am pretty sure the debt can get transfered over too you.

And just because u have debt doesn't mean you can't afford to pay for it... (and the debt agencies will take the property of the person that has died to cover the debt - your fucked if you live in that house aren't you.)

Haha. Toht, that's funny. Care to post who PMd you that? :[ I honestly can't believe that people think a 'designer' and a 'coder' is the same thing :( Sheesh, humanity.

Actually I made that private message to him.

If you read that pm, I didnt said he was a coder since I clearly asked which degree he had and what kind of work he would get with it. ( yes, sorry that I don't know everyone his degree and work on this forum )

They've offered me one job i can actually do(others been coding, since i'm a "designer", they think i design software by coding it) and that job was allready out of the market when they suggested it.

I assumed that he could do a bit of coding because of the quote from him above me, it felt like they offered him a coding job which he wanted to take but was out of the market.

I just read it again and saw that I was wrong. But whatever if some of you feel to laugh at it. Atleast I tried to help him and gave him a good website were he could make some nice money IF he was a coder. I didnt even expected a thank you back, I just gave it to him as a friendly gesture but OK.

wittor, most people (atleast, some of the major regs) are part of computing in one form or another. Graphic (game) design, Programmers, Database Admins, Net Admins, Sys admins etc.. We're all a bunch of wankers :D How can you expect less. Even though you did only try to help... I mean, the help is appriciated, but it's just.. We tend to mock people who make that common of a mistake. :(

(If you've ever spoken to tech support, you should know :D)

Yes, it was taken as a friendly gesture, hensh i didn't post who wrote it, just laughed at the co-incidence of the same mistake a person makes on these forums as the agency makes all the time.

You know, if i would post that i can't stand that people send me kitten mail all the time and someone sent me a "here's a site full of kittens!" mail in good faith.

The gesture is appreciated, but so is the humor value of the mistake :D

If you die and you leave everything to your son if you have 200k worth of stuff but 250k worth of debt i think they take the stuff but your son will not get your debt. Debt would only transfer on say a mortgage if you wanted to keep the house rather than them selling it to settle the debt. I think.
