Bandwidth & PHP question...

Ok, I have two web sites. One with little space and little bandwidth but PHP and one with loads of space and bandwidth but no php.

I want a file upload system. If I made an upload script with php which connected to the other sites FTP server would it use the bandwidth on the PHP server sending the file through it?

I hope that's understandable...

Yeah, you'd use the bandwidth on both servers as wyrd said

You could send an ftp: URL back to the browser with the 'fat' site credentials in, but that may be too risky, do they provide any facilities for scripting (since a browser upload handler is pretty trivial in any script)..
