Hi
I'm currently in a room with a few mates, I pay for the internet connection to the room on the condition that people don't use bandwidth-intensive programs at times when people are playing online-games, to avoid lag issues.
So far it works ok, but occassionally someone does something that causes lag and it creates a bit of a drama - no way of proving who's doing it etc.
I dont even think its being done with 'malicious' intent, I'm pretty sure a couple of the less tech-savvy people don't realise they're lagging the rest of us up, but I was wondering - is there any easy way of monitoring who's-doing-what bandwidth wise? I mean surely there should be something that can sit on the router and log what's going on? Installing programs on other people's PC's would be a bit iffy too tbh, so the more discreet this software, the better.
Any help much appreciated, not having much luck so far.
