Ban Listings

The server hosts, ie, barrysworld or jolt should make a list available for their players to see whether they are banned.

They should have a list of banned WON ID's and a reason beside explaining why that WON ID was banned.

This will help people get un-banned by figuring out the problem and resolving it.

Also, I know it would allow cheaters to see the reason they were banned and try other scripts but there are more innocent people than cheaters and the innocent deserve a chance to get their ban's lifted.

What do you all think?

Maybe with enough votes we will be able to get the server hosts to do something about it which would be good for the innocent.

I have been banned only from one server, the reason being that it was the server of an old clan I was in and I was thrown out because they said "they dont feel the clan is right for me"
But hey, that was a long time ago so no i doubt I would enter the lists.
Also, I dont cheat, I am totally against it and I dont see why valve have ceased to support Punkbusters efforts as it was at one time the best anti-cheat.

Would be nice to see a list. Since the anti-cheat stuff has kicked in I haven't seen a few regulars from before Christmas. I hope they haven't been banned or stopped because they were cheating, but ya never know.

Dunno if ya know them but peeps like sdf, etc.

Still see Jobs around, obviously he has some anti-anti-cheat software running the h4x0r!

I know, you are aiming your weapon slowly as you see a target camping, your finger hovers over the trigger then "Welcome to UK2.net - For fast dial-up go to..." appears over the crosshair in nice bright green text.

Thats usally what happens.

I personally use Uk2 servers occasionly.

Usually because the BW ones are full or have a load of lamers on them. Just remeber how many public servers bw provide and then how many uk2 provide.

If it wasn't for uk2 servers then bw would be swamped with peopl and you would never be able to get on a server.


Back on to topic.!!!!!!

I would like to see the ban list too. Surley it can't be that hard to copy all the cheatlogs into a folder on an ftp directory and let everyone browse. Can it?
