apparently i will work less hours than i was told in the interview, which is shitty because ive quit my old job now i got told 14 hours a week but i will only average 10 a week through the whole month.

I was stood up last night.

Yeah it sucks but there's not a lot that can be done about it. The problem where I work is massively varying demand for barstaff depending on the night. Saturday night is busy busy and we open all 3 rooms but Fridays are pants and are main room only. We do student nights as well but the only guaranteed busy ones are VodbullsOne of the main reasons people leave this job is because they get another job with more hours.

When I was on the bar I was screaming for extra hours, I was a cellarman for a while and did some promo work too. Ask if they need any promotions staff in the daytime or something like that - there are a few bank holidays coming up which your place should be open for.

I'm waiting for a new motherboard to appear. Everyone has been saying "in 2 days" "in a few days" "oh right, tomorrow now!" "no sorry it's a week off" etc etc for the past two months. My current comp is dying :-(

it would of been nice if she could of told me beforehand that it was like that though.

when i work it out, i appear to be getting the same amount of money as when i worked in mc donalds. though i was looking forward to the extra £100 a month i was told i would get
